Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley was born in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976 is among the many of the most well-known and wealthy Reggae artists. He appeared in Shottas, a cult film opposite Wyclef. Ky-Mani was signed by Shang Records in 1996 where the first album he put out was With Father Like Son. He recorded a variety of singles including Judge Not with Patra as well as Dear Dad (which reached the highest position on the British Reggae Charts) as well as the Who the Cap Fit Remix and Sensimelia. All of them helped contribute to the rising popularity of Ky among the new generation of reggae musicians. In 1997, Ky-Mani teamed up together with Praswell (Fugees) on Avenue which was a smash cover that was a cover of the song by Eddy Grant Electric Avenue. Marley became the first artist to appear on stage at Midem in Miami which was an international festival of music.
